On April 16th the Board of the Center for Catholic- Jewish
Studies established the "Rabbi A. James Rudin Endowment for
Interreligious Studies" with the intent of providing lasting
programs and educational benefits to support interfaith education
and dialogue. The endowment is expected to grow over the years
as others participate. Only limited proceeds from the fund
will be drawn thus building programming for the future.
A check for $10,000 was set aside as a result of the Eternal
Light Award Dinner solely for this lasting purpose and in
honor of our faithful Rabbi Rudin. As our summer 2007 planning
efforts unfold, more information will become available concerning
ways in which the public will be able to share in this legacy
by adding to the endowment.

$10,000 check. David was instrumental in assisting with the
mechanics of establishing the endowment.
