Dear Friends,
We have just completed our biggest Eternal Light
Award Dinner ever, this having been our 8th annual
event held in Sarasota on February 18th. With 180
attendees and an emotional evening honoring Rabbi
A. James Rudin for his life's work in interfaith
relations, we have a new vigor in furthering our
mission to engage the public through education and
dialogue.
There is so much to tell you...and limited space to do
so. In this e-Letter issue, I hope to give you some
sense of the efforts which are in progess.

| Model Seder To be Conducted March 29th |
 |
|
The Center and Saint Leo University are teaming up
under the leadership of Father Michael Cooper, S.J. to
conduct a Model Seder on the main campus on March
29th at 5:00 pm. We expect to attract students and
introduce them to the Seder such that they can gain an
understanding as to its meaning and the Jewish
customs which are part of the meal. It is open both to
students and the public, but space will be limited. You
may register by clicking onto the University logo at left.
Through our website "contact us" we will forward your
registration to Father Michael.

Rabbi A. James Rudin provided a humble and moving
account of his lifetime work in interfaith relations to
include meeting with Pope John Paul II on ten
occasions. Rabbi Rudin is a founding father of the
Center for Catholic-Jewish Studies and has been
responsible for many of the current Board Members
being involved and active in the organization.
